Angela Astleford, CNP

Certified Nurse Practitioner

Angela is a certified nurse practitioner who graduated summa cum laude as a Family Psychiatric Nurse practitioner from Frontier Nursing University and who is also certified as an Adult and Geriatric Primary Cafe Nurse Practitioner from Northern Illinois University. Angela has been providing care as a full-time independent contractor psychiatric nurse practitioner at Advance Psychiatry of Elgin since April of 2019. She completed a visiting fellowship at Duke university in TMS certification in 2020. She has been administering Spravato/Eskatamine treatments since 2019. Angela had provided care to in-patients atCentegra. Northwestern Medicine as part of the Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Service as well as in the in-patient behavioral health unit as a psychiatric consultant in the (PES) Psych Emergency Services as well as seeing patients in the Partial Hospitalization Program. Angela has experience in providing care to those with serious mental illness including depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders as well as other psychiatric disorders.

Amy Chodorowski, CNP

Certified Nurse Practitioner

Amy is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated with a doctorate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Amy worked as a psychiatric nurse for ten years in several acute inpatient settings where she enjoyed caring for patients of all ages. She is enthusiastic to use her knowledge and skills to help patients achieve a better quality of life. Amy uses a holistic and integrative approach that is tailored to meet the needs and desired outcomes of each individual. She has experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric illnesses including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, self-injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, substance use disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
